Glitter Nation is actually happening! The season of change is upon us, and Glitter Nation will define the moment. So far, 4 designs have been finalized and there are more potential sketches to come. Keep your eyes open during the next couple of months to witness the re-emergence of our creative team.

Sorry for the rather large delay, but salon life has been busier than ever this summer. And with my last collection hitting the floor, there hasn't been much to report on in terms of creative development and new ideas; GAIA did not come through after all. HOWEVER, now that we are passed the season, we are all gearing up yet again for an exciting new year. Spring 2010 will come beautifully with the birth of something fantastic and new, I'm sure. Right now I'm starting on preliminary sketches with final designs bound to materialize before Christmas. We have definitely not given up!

Due to circumstances beyond my control, GAIA, or what is left of it, has been post-poned severely. This is why the site hasn't really changed much in the last two months. We put a lot of time, money, and effort into it, but it's slowly becoming more and more evident that looking to future projects is the way to go. I am still waiting on final photos from GAIA, so I have no idea if they will actually premiere sucessfully on the site and in book form. Once I know, so to will everyone else.

Right now, I'm attempting to avoid the fall/winter season and focus on a new spring/summer collection for the 2010 year. Something that can be opened with the summer festivals the city brings to light, namely PRIDE, sometime in June next year. I've been busy, so sorry for the delay. Let's hope the photos come through afterall!

Welcome to GAIA WEEK. Amazing? Incredible? The greatest Summer collection to come out of Toronto this year?

You have no idea.

The next 5-7 days will be re-define the creativity passionate minds are capable of. I've, we've, done a lot of work; and we're not even 50% there.

GAIA Week has been pushed to May 25th-30th. The push was due to over-scheduling and the promise of warmer weather.

Hopefully our shoot days are bright, clear, and sunny.

GAIA week is just around the corner! There is still a lot of planning left to do but we are inching towards materialzation as we speak. Prep and Shoot Dates are under final confirmation and pretty soon we'll be creating something spectacular. I hope for the best and that we can get this out at the peak of the summer season. Wish us luck <3.

Last model meeting was today and all is, generally, well! The entire roster is complete and the entire collection has been extended.

That's what they tell me. I'm tired, yes, but it's been a relaxing birthday. Fashion is a battlefield, that much is true.

We've found a new location to shoot GAIA! This is exciting news becuase the lack of time, as well as living so far away from the city, was proving the search for proper outdoor spaces to be increasingly and increasingly difficult. Thankfully, we are almost certain our current location is a winner :) Our new photographer, Jimmy Fu, is equally as excited over the location and his experience in fantastic editorial work will make for the best representation GAIA can achieve. I wish I could do it tomorrow, but there is still much planning to be done.

The next step for me is the model roster. We are currenly undergoing interviews and, hopefully, within the next two weeks will finalize our models. Once they are confirmed, the only date we need to worry about is the date of the shoot, and working towards it! It doesn't help that outside my window right now it's snowing -____- but hopefully it'll begin to warm up fairly soon and we can get the shoot started by May.

I'm thankful for everyone that has been a part of all of my ambitions up until now. It's easy to not want help but we all need it. Without everyone surrounding me these collections and visions could not materialize.
